Homeowner Advocacy Group Gives Nod to Mulrooney

Bill Mulrooney, candidate for county commissioner in District 4, gets the support of Forsyth Citizens for Responsible Growth.

Forsyth County’s largest homeowner advocacy group, Forsyth Citizens for Responsible Growth (FCRG), recently endorsed Bill Mulrooney for the county commissioner seat in District 4, stated an e-mail to Cumming Patch.

“I am humbled and honored by FCRG’s endorsement," said Mulrooney. "This group represents over 60 neighborhoods in our community. I am encouraged that people believe in our commitment. They understand that if they want a person to represent the taxpayers, than they have to look past all the signs and the money that buys them."

Mulrooney worked for 25 years as an electronic engineer. He and his wife Beth moved to Forsyth County in 2000 and, that same year, began volunteering at the where he later served on the Board of Directors.
