The Old Atlanta Park Recreation Center will close its doors for about a week.

Old Atlanta Park Recreation Center located in south Forsyth County will be closed for use beginning Tuesday, Feb. 26 through Sunday, March 3.

The closure is to allow for the center’s gymnasium floors to be refinished, according to a press release from the county.

“We appreciate everyone’s patience during this closure,” said Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation Tommy Bruce said. “The recreation centers at Central Park and Fowler Park will of course be available for use during this time.”

The center is scheduled to re-open at 7 a.m. Monday, March 4.
