Romney Has Success with Media Coverage, Gingrich Not So Much

Mitt Romney's media coverage leading into Super Tuesday has been positive.

The Republican presidential primary is well underway in Georgia and when it comes to positive media coverage of the candidates Mitt Romney performed well, according to a study by the Pew Research Center.

The study found that Romney's news coverage was 45 percent positive and only 28% negative. Rick Santorum was a close second with 38 percent positive coverage and 30 percent negative. Ron Paul was third with 36 percent and 23 percent negative.

Newt Gingrich came in last with only 20 percent positive and a whopping 43 percent negative news coverage.
