Where Does Our Water Come From?

Details of the county water quality report are available now.

The Forsyth County Water and Sewer Department’s 2011 Water Quality Report has been released and this month copies will be mailed out to customers with water bills.

The report, which covers 2010, provides information on where the county’s water comes from, what it contains and how it compares to standards set by the regulatory agencies.

Last year the county's water met all U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and state drinking water health standards.

“Forsyth County takes great pride in serving our more than 46,000 customers, and in sharing this Water Quality Report with them each year,” said Tim Perkins, Director of Water and Sewer, in a statement.
