Deuschle Named Forsyth County Teacher of the Year

Piney Grove Middle School media specialist was also tapped as the county's Middle School Teacher of the Year.

Piney Grove Middle School Media Specialist Kristen Deuschle was named the Forsyth County Teacher of the Year during last Friday’s 2014 Celebration of Excellence.

Also recognized as the county’s Middle School Teacher of the Year, the University of Georgia and University of North Georgia graduate was chosen for the countywide honor over the elementary school representative, Julie Auten, and Lisa Robinson, the high school representative.

Deuschle has taught at three other county schools in addition to Pine Grove.

The celebration, held at the Lanier Technical College Forsyth Conference Center, also honored non-school staff who contribute to Forsyth schools.
