Forsyth County Schools Needs Mock Interviewers

Local interviewers from the business and parent community needed beginning Monday and interviewers do not have to have interviewing experience.

Patch Staff Report

All five high schools in Forsyth County will be hosting a "Mock Interview Week" for junior and senior CTAE career pathway students enrolled in a third-year course or work-based learning.

These students are looking forward to this opportunity as they experience how to search, prepare, and apply for a job.

Forsyth County Schools are searching for interviewers from the business and parent community to assist during the Mock Interview Weeks.

Interviewers do not have to have interviewing experience, as FCS will make sure they are supported and have a script to follow. The mock interviews are scheduled on different weeks at each high school, and see below for links on how to sign up to volunteer.

If possible, FCS are asking that interviewers stay all day for one or more days.

There are openings for half-day slots if they are unable to interview for an entire day. The interviews for each student will be 10 - 15 minutes in length and generic in content.

Additionally, any employer ready to hire students may use this opportunity to actually conduct "live" interviews.
