Forsyth Schools Set Inclement Weather Makeup Day
School officials say for now, the third weekend in February, spring break and the last day of school won't change for students.

School will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 which is listed as inclement weather day #2 on the 2013-14 calendar. This day will be used to recover one of the instructional days that was lost this week due to inclement weather. As you will remember we will also have school on March 17, 2014, listed as inclement weather day #1, due to inclement weather that occurred prior to this week.
Therefore at this point in the school year the third weekend in February, spring break and the last day of school will not change for students. Details for recovering staff time are being discussed, and will be shared once a decision has been made. Please note that if more inclement weather occurs or if modifications are made by the state in relation to testing this decision might be revisited in the future.
