Forsyth Schools Superintendent Applications Available

Beginning this week, the Georgia School Boards Association is now accepting applications to fill the soon opening position for the Forsyth County Schools' superintendent. 

Applications will be accepted through May 2, 2014.

Last month, Superintendent Dr. L.C. “Buster” Evans notified the Board of his plan to retire from the field of public education on June 30, 2014. 

As stated on its website, Forsyth County Schools is looking for an outstanding local, state or national leader to be the next superintendent of schools. Driven by strong beliefs, the district is a dynamic learning organization that has a clear vision for the future of education.

As the seventh largest school district in Georgia, Forsyth County Schools works hard to maintain a small-town feel where students, staff, parents and community members are treated as family.
