Lady Wolverines Tennis Team Wins 5 of 6

The North Forsyth girls tennis team lost to Milton 4-1. They finish the regular season with a 6-6 record and will take part in the Region 6-AAAAA Tournament on April 12 when they face West Forsyth. … Speaking of West Forsyth, the girls got a big win over Forsyth Central 5-0. The Lady Wolverines have won their last five of six matches. … The Forsyth Central boys lost to West Forsyth 3-2. They will be back in action on April 11 against Lumpkin County. … The Lambert boys earned a 4-1 win over South Forsyth last Tuesday. Lincoln Metz and Kyle Chrzanowski got singles wins for the Longhorns, while the doubles teams of Chase Watton and Austin McCormick won their match to lead the Longhorns to their 12th win of the season. … The Lambert girls also defeated South Forsyth 4-1. Karlee Bryde and Ashley Barron got singles wins for the Lady Longhorns, while the doubles team of Kealee Heffner and Taylor Lefton won their match as well. They improved their record to 12-0.

Last Monday, the North Forsyth boys team finished third at the Big Red Shootout in Gainesville. Travis Roe led North Forsyth, shooting a 41, which earned him individual medalist honors. With that score, Roe broke a school record which was originally set at 38.
