When and how did your business get started? "Thirty-five years ago, I apprenticed with my father-in-law, a master jeweler from Poland. Since then I have been mastering his craft. I have owned a jewelry store in Johns Creek since 1996. In 2011, I opened a second location at the Collection Forsyth and just celebrated two years a few weeks ago," said owner Izzy Israeli.
What is your business best known for?
Our specialty is custom design. We create the piece in three dimensions on a cad-cam program, and then use robots to create the wax. The piece is then cast and the stones set right in our shop. We are also known for directly imporing diamonds from Israel. We have an extensive bridal and engagement collection, too. We have become very well-known for our extensive repair and service capabilities because of our amazing team of jewelers, we can even appraise jewelry because of our extensive knowledge. If you visit our showroom you'll find jewelry from fun to fine and at every price point, so we are known for catering to all types of jewelry clientele.
What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?
We're a locally-owned and operated store. Izzy, the owner of the shop is usually at the Cumming location. But just because we're a small business doesn't mean that we are smalltime! Our workshop is one of the most advanced you'll ever see and our jewelers among the best in Atlanta.
