Labor Day 10K Race along Peachtree Parkway

Forsyth County’s Inaugural Labor Day 10K, hosted by Totally Running to benefit Talk About Curing Autism, will be held on September 3, 2012 starting at 7:30 a.m.  The race route will follow Peachtree   Parkway (GA-141) from Johns Creek Parkway to the Totally Running Store located in The Shops at Brannon Crossing (405 Peachtree Pkwy, Cumming, GA 30041).  One lane of Peachtree Parkway will closed for this certified, fast-paced 10K.

Special awards will be presented to the top three overall runners and top three masters, as well as top three in all five age categories (age 19 and under through 65+).  All participants who register by August 27th will receive a commemorative t-shirt.  The event will conclude with a finish line festival in the parking lot of Totally Running.

Talk About Curing Autism (TACA) provides support, education and information, and resources to close to 25,000 families across the United States who are touched by autism and has a local TACA Chapter in the Johns Creek/Cumming area. One in every 91 children in the United States has autism. TACA aims to speed up the cycle time from the autism diagnosis to effective treatments.
