North Forsyth 24
Roswell 21
North Forsyth got its first win of the season after knocking off Roswell 24-21 Friday night.
“It was huge,” said head coach Blair Armstrong. “I’m so proud for our kids. They work so hard and to see that smile on their face meant the world to me.”

Sophomore tailback Luke Slaton carried the load for the Raiders in a back-and-forth affair, rushing for 159 yards and two touchdowns.
A 14-14 game at the half, Armstrong said his team kicked a 31-yard field goal before the Hornets went up 21-17 early in the 4th quarter. But quarterback Harris Robert and Slaton led the Raiders 98 yards on a 7-minute drive to go up 24-21 with 25 seconds left to seal it.

North Forsyth faces Northview, who is also 1-4, at home next week
South Forsyth 35
Cass 21
South Forsyth improved to 2-2 after knocking off Cass 35-21 Friday night.
“Offensively we jumped out to a good start,” said head coach Jeff Arnette. “We scored on three of our first four possessions.”
The War Eagles took a 28-14 lead at the half behind the play of quarterback Jeffery Jantzen and tailback Hunter Beeghley, who scored three touchdowns.
Forsyth Central 13
Woodland, Bartow 39
Forsyth Central dropped to 1-3 Friday night after losing to a tough Wildcat team.
Head coach Chris Bennett could not be reached for comment.
