Play Some Golf, Get Free PGA Tickets

The first 250 people who pre-register and attend the event will receive free tickets to PGA Championship practice rounds.

Want to be part of some PGA action? The John A. White Park Golf Course in Atlanta will host a free day of golf activities during the 93rd PGA Championship Play Golf America Day on Saturday, June 25, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The first 250 people who register online at PlayGolfAmerica.com and attend the event will receive a free pair of championship practice round tickets for Tuesday, Aug. 9, or Wednesday, Aug. 10, at the Atlanta Athletic Club in nearby Johns Creek.

"It's a good year for golf in Georgia," said Chris Hawkins, who is coordinating the event at the John A. White course. "Play Golf America Day is promoting the game of golf and exposing people to all facets of the game."

In honor of Women’s Golf Month, the event welcomes everyone, including novices, children and especially women, to take part in free lessons from PGA professionals, try new products from golf manufacturers and participate in contests. The event was created to showcase the game of golf in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Hawkins said their will also be entertainment and refreshments.

Play Golf America Day is Saturday, June 25, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at John A. White Park Golf Course, 1053 Cascade Circle, Atlanta, 30311. Admission is free and open to the public. Only one pair of tickets will be given per household. Attendees have until the end of Friday to register, and those who win the PGA tickets must be present at the Saturday event to receive their tickets.
