Summer Camps at Sawnee Mountain

Sawnee Mountain Preserve is offering several summer camps for children ages 4- to 6-years-old.

Summer fun and adventure await campers during Forsyth County Parks and Recreation Department’s Young Mountaineers Camp. The weeklong, nature-themed camps are being offered throughout the summer at .

The Young Mountaineers Camp is open to children ages 4- to 6-years-old. Campers will explore the trails of Sawnee Mountain while learning about the plants and animals that live in the forest in the area. Children will also get to hike, play nature-themed games, create crafts and have fun.

The Young Mountaineers Camps are held Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost is $80 per week and pre-registration is required.
