Reflecting on the values of Thanksgiving by Creating a Company Culture that includes Gratitude

Sometimes the fact that we, the Law Offices of Kevin J. McDonough, P.C., are a small business is forgotten when we are constantly communicating with our clients about their businesses or legal matters. But, the fact is, we are a small business providing a service and we need to understand how to succeed the same as any other business does. When we find interesting articles to share with our clients and our community, many times we are reflecting on those articles and their contents in relation to our own small business.

Over the Thanksgiving Holiday, we read an article that did just that: it made us reflect on how we can continue to incorporate gratitude into our company culture. We found the article on Entrepreneur.com and it is titled Making Gratitude Part of Your Company Culture .  In the article, author Lisa Evans provides examples of programs that companies employ to instill a culture of gratitude. Additionally, she explains how creating an organization with a culture of generosity is good for business. In the article, the top three reasons listed for creating a culture of generosity in your business include:
