We have only so-much in terms of Sustainable Water Resources available to consume-per-household, and further of that we impeed what Quality of Life/Level-0f-Service (LOS) is enjoyed of living this County ~ more People demand more "Services", etc., ad-nauseum ~ where upon comparison of the Forsyth County "Existing Land-Use Map" and "Future Land Charecter Map" the decimation of "Open Space" being "Planned" by some only becomes obvious...yet it only proceeds today, and will evolve just as it did right up-to "The Crash of '08" for the fact its "Stewards" -- Those charged with the procurement of Our future by Us -- are either asleep-at-the-wheel or in-the-trunk ~ Federal, State, and "Local Government" ~ altogether...and here-we-go again : ?

These numbers are for all of Georgia. Certainly South Forsyth has definitely resurrected its New Construction engine. The good news is that the majority of it is in subdivisions that had already been started back in 2006-2007 and had since been abandoned by developers and builders who went out of business in "The Crash of '08".

@ T.H.: True, a lot of the (Green-ABS/PVC) "Pipe Farms" are being picked-up, but for what WAS KNOWN of certain Forsyth County Engineering and Planning and Development Department "Heads" (kna; "Forsyth County Planning and Community Development Department" since some departed ; ) of regional concerns regarding "Water Wars" development was inarguably granted at higher densities than should've been allowed in areas of environmental sensitivity such as the Big Creek "Small" Water supply Watershed Overlay (BCSWO), and/or upon "Aquifer Recharge Zone" Groundwater Recharge Areas (ARZ/GRA) -- especially including where BOTH occur! As such, not only does it negatively affect Our regions water quality and supply for both pollution and demand incurred ~ exacerbating what impediments We suffer of them today in terms of "Quality of Life" (QOL) and "Level of Service" (LOS), but it also jepordizes the future of Our "Qualified Local Government" (QLG) status which grants that "Home Rule" authority allowing what is SUPPOSED to be "Prudent Planning" ~ supposedly based upon Our "Comprehensive Planning Guide" ~ for IT going more ignored than adhered to...this can cause State and Federal Government sanctions that makes Our QOL/LOS deteriorate further for their implementation...and THEN who would want to continue to "Live, Learn, Work, and Play" here : ?
There's "Smart Growth" and there's "We must grow or we will die" ideologies...which would you rather have influence our destiny today : ?
