Housing Inventory Drops Again

You can see the attached chart showing the inventory for the greater Atlanta region dropping steadily over the past couple of years. 

Here are the inventory numbers for Forsyth County at year-end for each of the last several years:

2012 - 934

2011 - 1,300

2010 - 1,770

2009 - 1,818

2008 - 2,231

Historically January and March are the two biggest listing of the months of the year, so the next 30-90 days will have quite an impact on whether we continue in a seller's market or shift back towards a balanced market.
