Helping Where Help Is Not Available

Butterfly Kisses & Dragonfly Dreams is a start up non-profit to help those diagnosed with Leukemia, Cancer or Lupus.

Butterfly Kisses and Dragonfly Dreams.

This is a non-profit that I am starting in memory of my daughter, father and aunt. My daughter passed away in 2009 from Leukemia, my father passed away in 1984 from Cancer and my aunt passed away in 2011 from Lupus.

So what does that have to do with a non-profit? Well if there is one thing that I have learned is that the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Cancer Society and the Lupus Foundation help when the funds are available and mostly help with a small check to cover gas to and from treatments or co-pays for medication.

What Butterfly Kisses and Dragonfly Dreams would like to do is step in and help a little more. Maybe it is around the holiday and we can help with Christmas or birthdays or maybe we can help with some food or to pay a small bill. Someone may need some comfortable clothes to wear while in the hospital.

We are currently looking for board members and also donations to help raise the money to get our 501(c)3. We are also looking for businesses that may want to sponsor this charity.

If you know of someone who needs the help, would be interested in being on the Board or would like to sponsor or make a donation please reach out to me.

I am also asking that you like our Facebook page.

I was going to ask the same thing about the jobs. I really liked the job search engine that wasRead More included before the format change. The link you provided is okay, but I liked being able to see what's available in other places and being able to narrow the search as well. You said "you can always find it under "Business"". Where? I don't see it. To be honest, I don't really care for the new website layout. I had only recently found Cumming Patch and was really enjoying it. I'm not sure I'll continue visiting. The new layout is not easy to navigate. The dropdowns that used to be in the menu were really nice so that you could go directly to what you were looking for.
