South Forsyth Rotary Club Hosts Annual Monte Carlo Casino Night

One hundred percent of funds raised given to community through local charities.

will host its annual Monte Carlo Casino Night fundraiser on Saturday, March 10 at the  off Ronald Reagan Parkway (just behind The Avenue Forsyth).

This year will mark the largest event in their 19-year history as they move to the new location. The volunteer organization expects an attendance of more than 350 for Saturday's event.

According to Event Chair James Daniel, it will be a fun filled evening of appetizers, dinner, drinks, casino gaming, dancing and a silent auction.

"It's a great evening that allows the south Forsyth rotary to continue our work in the community for 19 years now," said Daniel. "The event is made possible by all of our great sponsors and silent auction donors."

One hundred percent of the net proceeds raised goes back into the community by way of the various local organizations and charities the rotary supports including, Bald Ridge Boy's Lodge, Jesse's House, , and many more.

Daniel said last year's event raised $40,000 net with proceeds going "toward our work with youth related organizations."
