Forsyth County Eyeing Rec Center Membership Fees
A public hearing is set to discuss the proposed fees, which range from $5 to $120.
The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners is set to hold a public hearing on a proposal to consider the imposition of a membership fee for the use of the recreation centers on Thursday, Oct. 3, at 5 p.m.
The proposed fees are:
- Forsyth County Resident (ages 13 to 54): $10 annual fee, $5 returning for second year
- Forsyth County Resident (age 55 and older): Free
- Non-Forsyth County Resident: $120 annual fee
- Visitor Attending with Member: $5 per visit
- Badge Replacement Fee: $5
The public hearing will be held in the Forsyth County Administration Building in Suite 220 of 110 E. Main St. in Cumming.
