What Would You Like to See in this Building?

With new businesses moving in and moving out all the time, Cumming is always changing shape. For example, if you've been in downtown Cumming lately then you've seen the construction that is underway of the new Forsyth County Courthouse and jail.

But you probably have noticed a few empty buildings here and there. Nearly three years ago the Kroger grocery store located in Lakeland Plaza off Highway 20 in Cumming went out of business. The building has remained vacant since then (with the exception of the temporary lease of the Spirit Halloween store last year, according to Phillips Edison and Company). Rhonda Allen, senior property manager, of the leasing company said the 49,670 square foot space is available, but no takers as of this writing.

In an ideal world, what would you like to see go in that building? What would you like to see in Cumming? Do you have a favorite store you wish was here? Or maybe some other attraction?
