Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
678-455-5291
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS) follows the Mormon teachings of Joseph Smith. The movement was started by Smith in 1830 in New York. The religion draws its teachings from Smith's revelations, the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Pearl of Great Price, and texts described as missing pieces of the Bible. LDS churches are broken up into larger "stakes" and smaller "wards." This church is part of the Pilgrim Mill Ward. Worship services are held at 9am on Sundays, and activity nights are held at 7pm on Wednesdays. This congregation is led by Bishop Sherman, and is located in a residential area, just a short distance from Peachtree Parkway and Ronald Reagan Boulevard.
