This is a WONDERFUL place for child to have their first school experience. My two children have been in preschool at CFUMC Preschool for the last six years and have loved it. It is a terrific place for parents too. They give us so many opportunities to enjoy schooll with our children and make great memories. Cumming First United Methodist Church invites everyone to "begin your week" with them. This church began its amazing journey in a small, humble log cabin on the Cumming Square more than 175 years ago. In 1990, First United Methodist built a big, majestic brick sanctuary on Sawnee Mountain to accommodate the growth of the community. Over the past 150 years, Cumming First United Methodist Church congregation has grown to 3,100-plus members. Presently, Senior Minister, Rev. John L. Cromartie, Jr. and his staff of ministers and directors continue to worship and nurture the congregation and visitors at Cumming First United Methodist Church.
The doors of the church are open to visit, join and worship during Bible studies, Sunday worship services and Wednesday Holy Communion. Child care is available on Sundays. Pre-school, an after school program, music and arts, upward sports, children and youth ministries and a food pantry fill the church's weekly calendar. An awesome preschool! My son attended from age 3 - Kindergarten. I am now fortunate enough to work there. The preschool is truly blessed with wonderful students, parents and an incredible staff. I love being a part of the CFUMCP family!

CFUMC Preschool is amazing! Both of our children attended the program from age 2-4. When they began Elementary school, they were more than prepared. The classroom environments are age appropriate for the preschool child's development. The teachers and staff all love your child while you are away and teach them the skills they need to be successful in the classroom setting.
The environment in CFUMC Preschool is unbeatable. The amazing staff and teachers shine above all others and they pour their hearts into their work with the children. Both of my daughters have attended this program and I have nothing but praises for this school. I love the teachers and it is evident that they have tremendous love for the children. These kids leave the program with confidence and knowledge to start them on a bright path.
Proud of our church and the need it has filled in our community for a preschool where children can learn about God and our saviour. Would really like to teach there someday!

My three children all attended CFUMC Preschool, for a total of 9 years at the preschool. It was a wonderful experience and their teachers were always fantastic. They loved going there and learned so much. The time the teachers spent on projects and preparation always amazed me! I miss their programs and sweet artwork now that they have all moved onto elementary and middle school!
We love CFUM Preschool. This is our first year having a child attend and we have been so blessed by all the teachers and staff! We are planning to send all of our kids to this school as they grow up! Thanks CFUMP for being so wonderful and teaching our little ones how to grow in the love of Jesus Christ as well as excelling academically!
This is undoubtedly the BEST preschool in the world!!!! Both of my girls attended from age 2 through Kindergarten & were blessed with an incredible Christian learning environment where they were loved by the wonderful teachers and staff!! How fortunate we are to have this exceptional school right here in our own county!!
Our daughter went to CFUMC Preschool and Kindergarten (three years) and loved it. She was really prepared for 1st grade. We still see our teachers, Ms. Rachel,Ms. Geri and Ms. Judy and Mrs. Cochran and they remember her!!! What a great way to begin the early years and prepare for the love of learning for the rest of her life!
CFUMC Preschool is by Far the BEST preschool around!!! For 4 years I drove my two kids from Dawsonville to Cumming everyday because their was NOTHING to compare in our area! Both children, still love to go back and see Mrs. Rachael, Mrs. Tracy, Mrs Juanita, Mrs. Doris and many others!

I love coming into work every day at CFUM Preschool. It is the happiest school I have ever worked at. We have the most wonderful staff that cares deeply for all the children and their parents. Our parents are also so valuable to us and trust us to nurture their children's hearts and minds. We have so much fun each year in the 5-day 4's by performing a Circus for all the students and parents to come watch. Each of our monthly unit allows the children to explore through science, math, language, music, computers and spanish. We have it all. I love being a part of this school!!!
Both of my children went to Cumming First United Methodist Preschool. When they went to the Kindergarten screening at their elementary school the teachers asked what preschool they attended. I told them and they were not surprised. In fact, they said that most of the children that come from that preschool test well. It is a great Preschool and both my kids had so much fun!!!

This is our first year here with my son. We sent our daughter to a different preschool in Forsyth County. After not being pleased with the school we decided to put our son somewhere else. We love CFUMP. I can not tell you how pleased we have been with everyone. We love our teacher and he loves going to school. He is not only having fun but learning lots!!
By far the best preschool in Cumming, or surrounding areas. I love to see my son interact with his teachers and other students. The teachers at CFUMP actually care about my child. He will be attending until he can attend no more. Thanks CFUMP for all you do and for loving my child!
This is my daughter's second year at CFUMC pre-school. It has been AMAZING. The fantastic care and nurturing is the anchor for us. However the academics, fun, and sense of community are OUTSTANDING as well. My daughter will attend K here next year as my husband and I wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you, CFUMC!

This the most amazing preschool in the county!! They offer a wide variety of extra events including: the largest pumpkin patch in our community, costume parade, space camp, circus day with ponies, farm day with a petting zoo, a special art show with children's framed artwork, a special daddy's night, a special mother's tea, a monthly chapel for the children and many more! There is just something happening every day that makes this a magical place for children! They are learning and don't even realize it!!
