<p>Forsyth County Senior Services is a government organization designed for senior citizens ages 50 and older. It is a key informational resource center for seniors and their caregivers, offering a multitude of programs for seniors.</p>
<p>Seniors participate in age-appropriate activities including table games, exercises, attending resource sessions, arts and crafts, and volunteer in hospitals and local schools. A hot meal is served and a home delivery service is available for those living at home.</p> <p>Forsyth County Senior Services partners with the local sheriff's office, police department and fire department to assist seniors with programs, including The Guardian System, Vial of Life, and SALT meetings.</p> <p>Two centers are open offering a variety of services to assist with the needs of seniors; The Hearthstone Lodge for seniors ages 50 and older and Charles Place for seniors ages 60 and older.  </p> <p>Volunteers are always needed to assist each center. Call to find out what opportunities are available. </p>
