The Humane Society Thrift Store is new to Tri County Plaza but has made a huge impact on the community in the short time that it has been open. The 10,000 sq. ft. facility is loaded with a variety of treasures for sale. Among the inventory, you'll find bedding, furniture, computers, electronics, handbags, and clothing. The Humane Society Thrift Store is currently accepting donations and volunteers. The revenue from this store is used to maintain the No Kill Shelter for Animals.

The people here are absolutely AMAZING!! Not only do they do everything they can to help raise money and find homes for animals in their NO KILL shelter but they are also one of the first to step up to the plate and go out of their way for people in need. Many families lost most or all of their belongings in the recent storms..... my sister was one of them. Lance and his team here at the Humane Society of Forsyth County Thrift Store pulled together and donated pretty much everything this family needed to make a home again. I can not begin to express the gratitiude we have for these people and couldn't possibly begin to describe the kindness in their hearts. I have evey belief that these people have and will continue to do GREAT THINGS for the animals and the people that come into their lives. If you ever have a need for a place to drop off your good condition unwanted holdholds items furnitures clothes ..whatever... you can feel good about taking it to a place that will appreciate it and do great things with it. I really can't say enough great things about this place of these people THEY WILL FOREVER BE IN OUR HEARTS THANK YOU LANCE!!
