MY EXPERIENCE HERE WAS APPALLING!! I am not surprised that there are other poor reviews/experiences of this store similar to mine.

I bought a guitar at this store around Christmas-time for my young son. About a month later there is a rattling sound inside one of the tuning machines and one of the saddles was moving and creating a clicking sound when you strummed the individual string. I could easily have fixed it myself (I play guitar, and have a few guitars myself) but since it was under warranty it was best just to bring it in for repair.

The guy behind the counter, Andrew, asked me what was needed. I told him the problem and I also pointed out that something was wrong with one of the saddles. Andrew says "no problem" and then takes the guitar to the back workroom. A few minutes later he comes back saying that he fixed the guitar. Being curious, I then asked "how did you fix it?" Andrew then says, "I opened the tuning machine and stuck a small piece of rubber in there to keep it from rattling." Andrew continued, "Well, it's not like you bought a Ferrari!"

Essentially, he was saying that since I didn't spend money on a more expensive guitar, it really wasn't worth getting it fixed properly. I guess pouring out $150 is about the right price for a faulty guitar that has a "just-put-a-bandaid-on-it-warranty". I will never return there again because of the lack of sense and the contempt that they must have for ANY customer that walks through their doors.

Went for a repair on my guitar to have them lose a string and my whammy bar. They stated it was and I qoute, "Missing a string & the whammy bar was never on it", "We can add a string and you can replace your whammy bar". I asked them how much it would cost for a new whammy bar to get a quick, "Oh we do not have the whammy bars for this guitar in this shop". I left there, went to another music store to spend ten bucks on a new whammy bar. Which is not the orignal with the bigger grids so I now have a more lose bar. I for one will never shop, get repairs, or et cetera from here again.
