Pizzeria Azzurria is a brick-oven pizzeria that offers a variety of Italian cuisine. Owners Jon and Lara Eddleman personally salvaged the heartpine wood from the floor of the original Athens Cotton Exchange and transformed it into the beautiful bar and tables. The restaurant also features a romantic patio area to sit outside. In addition to the "best pizza in town," Azzuria also offers salads, sandwiches, pasta, calzones and desserts, including the Sinful Rum Cake, made from scratch.

Went there for the first time today. The sandwiches ( on home-made bread) are delicious. Service was awesome. Very friendly people. They deserve to be successful!
