WWEV, Victory 91.5 FM began broadcasting on Dec. 8, 1981 and is the area's only nonprofit Christian radio station (501(C) 3 ministry). WWEV receives no support from the federal government; instead each dollar comes from individuals who believe in the cause of Christ and WWEV's mission. This station is a Biblically based radio ministry offering a wide variety of contemporary Christian music. While music makes up most of its 24-hour day, a couple of hours each day is set aside for teaching and preaching of the Word.
