His disgusting act deserves the death penalty or life with a chance for parole . If we are luckyRead More another inmate might take care of the prolem .

I'm so sick of bleeding hearts thinking that prison is good enough for these psychos! I just do notRead More understand the mentality that if we, as a society, condone the death penalty that we are somehow barbaric, sick or vengeful. What is wrong with you??? Do you really think it makes us a better society for continuing to support people like this killer for the rest of their lives? Do you understand how much money that costs our country EVERY DAY? I understand that perhaps you feel that there are some innocent people sitting in prison right now and, for those few, we need to be cautious in exacting final justice. However, this psycho admitted that he did it...described it in detail...he is guilty...there is no doubt about that. Furthermore, there is NO...let me repeat that...NO help for him. There is no amount of rehabilitation, no drug, no shock therapy, no surgery, no magic drink...NOTHING...that will help him or change him. I have worked in a correctional setting for many years...with some of the worst criminals in history...(who, by the way, have since been executed)...I have seen them on a daily basis, talked to them, listened to them, watched their daily actions. Trust me when I tell you, there is NOTHING that will change them and I have not lost one second of sleep over their executions...in fact, the opposite is true...I sleep better knowing they are GONE...gone permanently...not just 'put away' for a while. I understand that you think you are being compassionate...you are not. It is a service to society, in soooo many ways, to be rid of them. THEY are the true animals...let me take that back...they aren't even animals...I have two dogs...they have never hurt anyone...I value their lives more than any one of these sick individuals. I can't call them people, I can't call them animals...both are above what they are. There really is no name for it...but I will assure you...they have NO place in society...even in an incarcerated society. Judge me if you will...call me harsh if you must...my opinion comes from seeing and knowing...and you can take my statements how ever you wish...but I know what I know...and you can take that to the bank.

A judge sentenced Christopher Erdman to life in prison, allowing him to dodge a death sentence as prosecutors wanted to spare his 5-year-old daughter from testifying in her mother's murder.

Great. Let's all pay for this lump of s**t's room and board for the rest of our lives. ProsecutorsRead More should have had the guts to put this creep down like the dog he is. --Strike that. Calling him a dog is an insult to dogs.

Life in prison is a form of torture, it must be worse than the death penalty (if not dragged outRead More over 20 years); and it's an enormouse financial burden on the tax payers.

But we can get stoned now, makes perfect sense !! See that's where you wrong. We can all show others the same grace that our awesome God shows usRead More everyday. After all, where would we all be with out Gods grace??? The Lord made us in his image and with in each of us is the ability to show each other the same love, compassion, forgiveness and grace that he has bestowed upon us.
Rebecca Kennedy April 15, 2014 at 03:31 pm
Again I don't need to give her forgiveness. That would be her family, friends and closeRead More acquaintances. I can't give God's grace. It is not mine to give. That is why it's called God's Grace. Who are you to say I am wrong or right. No one. You believe what you believe and I will believe what I believe. But bottom line Mrs. Westray committed nothing against me personaly and I don't believe she is a bad person per say. All I am saying is she broke a major law. People want to try and blame others for their decisions etc. doctors, friends and anyone else that they can so they don't have to accept that they are the ones to blame. She deserves the love and support of her family and friends but she doesn't deserve to keep her job or position.

What I do not understand is ……this guy is in the court room and just got sentenced,Read More and was therefore (or should have been) in the custody of court officers/police ……How the heck did he get away in the first place and why did they not catch him before he got into his truck. Someone needs to take a look at that.

The attacker is a bully and his parents were fully aware of it. As a parent of a non physicallyRead More violent bully, you know when your child is a bully because he bullies his siblings. I used to get complaints from parents of frightened children about my son all the time. My son was finally cured of his bullying ways when another bully punched him with brass knuckles on. Well wishes to the Egan family. This little boy did not deserve this. Nobody does.
Omar Monroe March 31, 2014 at 07:57 am
If thats the case then Melissa Hickson, he deserved what he got, my neighbors daughter was bulliedRead More for a long time, the bullies would be so bad that they even followed her home, waiting down the street to catch her outside, she told her parents but they didn't do anything, when she finally had enough and fought back, she was expelled, and had to go to alternative school.
stephen m george jr mpa March 31, 2014 at 02:36 pm
Something important to think about regarding this situation is ...almost every kid perpetrating aRead More school mass shooting WAS a victim of bullying ...and they had enough. So, let's just brush this crime under the rug and pretend it didn't happen ...and see what happens next.
