The Forsyth County Board of Education is the backbone and governing body of the Forsyth County School System.More Under the direction of the School Superintendent, Dr. L.C. (Buster) Evans, the BOE oversees legislation of the school system policies.

The BOE consists of five members representing individual districts.  The members meet monthly at the Forsyth County Board of Education at 1120 Dahlonega Highway.

Rides can be scheduled for doctor appointments, shopping, errands or employment drop-off and pick-up trips. Its vans are accessible to wheelchair passengers.
