The Forsyth County Jail (Adult Detention Center) is managed and operated by Ted Paxton, the sheriff of ForsythMore County, and his staff. The detention commander is in charge of the day-to-day operations. Upon entering this facility, a set of rules will be given to you outlining what is expected of you, and what will be done for you during your period of confinement. By law, the sheriff's office personnel are not allowed to give out the names and telephone numbers of bonding companies.

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Victim Advocate  assists victims of a number of crimes such as: More homicides, fatal accidents, suicide or attempted suicides, sexual assaults, child abuse and domestic violence.

The victim advocate acts as a first responder and assists victims with immediate needs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  If you or anyone you know has been the victim of a crime  in Forsyth County or in the Cumming area, call the victim advocate for help.
