The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Victim Advocate  assists victims of a number of crimes such as: More homicides, fatal accidents, suicide or attempted suicides, sexual assaults, child abuse and domestic violence.

The victim advocate acts as a first responder and assists victims with immediate needs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  If you or anyone you know has been the victim of a crime  in Forsyth County or in the Cumming area, call the victim advocate for help.

Family Haven Thrift Stores

Family Haven is a non-profit organization that provides temporary emergency shelter and program services to victimsMore of domestic violence in Forsyth County. As part of its outreach programs the staff of Family Haven also operates a Thrift Store in Forsyth County. Victims and their families may obtain free vouchers to purchase items at the store. The thrift store is also open to the public. Proceeds go to the Forsyth County Family Haven.
