Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss
Dr. Seuss turns 107 today and his Cat in the Hat, first published on March 1, 1957 is 54.
We all live in the Wubulous World of Dr. Seuss in one way or another, and today marks the day the amazing Seuss was born. Students at Chestatee Elementary School started celebrating early, beginning the week with green eggs and ham for breakfast on Monday, and following up with scheduled Dr. Seuss-themed festivities for the remainder of the school week. But Dr. Seuss is more than just a pretty, furry face – his books are both entertaining and educational, as anyone who loves him will acknowledge. My wife is a Face Painter here in Cumming and has a Cat in the Hat outfit she wears at parties. She made an appearance at North Lanier Weekday on Wed. They had Dr. Suess Day and all the kids loved it. Green Eggs & Ham was my favorite.   more ›
