Forsyth Offers Christmas Tree Recycling
"Bring One for the Chipper” the annual Christmas tree recycling event is underway in Forsyth County.
If the needles on your Christmas tree are starting to drop faster than you can keep up with, it may be time to recycle the tree. The “Bring One for the Chipper” Christmas tree recycling event is underway through Saturday, Jan. 26, at several locations around Cumming sponsored by Keep Forsyth County Beautiful (KFCB). The annual event has become a tradition for many residents who end the holiday season by recycling their Christmas tree. There are plenty of places around Cumming to pick out this year's Christmas tree, including: Bottoms Tree Farm is located at 5880 John Burrus Road in Cumming. They are a family owned and run small business that offers choose and cut trees, fresh cut Fraser firs. This tree lot is sure to start traditions as families select a tree, have it cut down for them (or do it yourself with a loaned saw) and delivered by the Bottoms family themselves. This is the last weekend to get that Christmas tree to the chipper. The “Bring One for the Chipper” Christmas tree recycling event is underway through Saturday, Jan. 28, at several locations around Cumming sponsored by Keep Forsyth County Beautiful (KFCB).
