This Is Why Leftover Turkey Is Going to be a Problem
The coonhound has a method for getting his share of my dinner and he doesn't give up until his goal is achieved.
Poor coonhound. This is him doing his best "Don't you want to give me a cookie too because I look so humble and compliant? And, gee, look at me! I'm just sitting here with my head on this piece of furniture while you have the gall to eat a cookie right in front of me and not even give me any" look. But, it's all a lie! A lie, I tell you! He's anything but humble and he will persist until he gets a small bite of the cookie, the entire plate of cookies or just a molecule of cookie goodness that might perhaps fall to the floor. And he will get it - just because he wants it. Coonhounds don't forget about the coon up in the tree and they don't forget about the cookie you ate, not even if you ate it 15 minutes ago.
