Announce Your Easter Egg Hunt

Is your church, organization or business hosting an Easter Egg hunt around Cumming this month?

This year Easter falls on March 31, which means it’s just around the corner. If your church, organization or business is hosting an Easter Egg hunt leading up to the holiday, announce it for free on Cumming Patch. Here’s how: 1. Make sure you’re signed in under your Patch account. 2. Click on the Cumming Patch Event Calendar and click on “add an event” 3. The Egg-Hunter Games

Trying to interpret the annual insanity that is the Easter Egg Hunt.

This weekend one of the holiest of all childhood rituals will take place in full view of the sun and over-protective parents. The egg hunt. Depending upon your tradition, the scene may vary a bit, but essentially the components remain the same: multi-colored eggs (mostly plastic, but there are always a few staunch traditionalists who dye their own hard-boiled eggs), baskets of various shapes and sizes (including the occasional 5-gallon bucket), children dressed in hues from a pastel rainbow, and lots and lots of misdirected aggression. Normally the hunt is held outside, in some bucolic setting, where the grass sways gently in the early spring breeze and the sun glitters peacefully off a nearby lake or stream.
