The Humane Society of Forsyth County has four more pets up for adoption.
Mindy is a terrific tortie! She is not only pretty, but also very sweet. She's a bit mischievous and very curious and loves to explore! She gets along okay with other cats and dogs, but if there are too many she gets nervous. She tends to be bullied by them. She is a loving, affectionate girl who is looking for her forever home. She is currently in a nice foster home where she is learning how to be a great house cat, but she needs a home of my very own and a family that give her the love she needs and deserves. Ducky, Checkers, Mittens and Donegal are all waiting to be taken to a loving home!
Ducky is a male Australian Cattle Dog/Lab mix with an estimated date of birth of Jan. 18, 2012. He is a tough boy, had a hard start to life, but was saved by a fantastic volunteer. He is starting to understand how to trust people and is growing to be a fantastic dog. He was found by a volunteer emaciated and covered in ticks. He is now feeling much better and ready to find his forever home. Ducky is so sweet and so full of love. Checkers is a male American Staffordshire Terrier with an estimated date of birth of Aug. 21, 2011. Checkers is 35 lbs of adorable, very affectionate and loves to be a lap-dog. Mazda along with Baxter, Chanel and Holly are all waiting for their "forever home" at the Humane Society of Forsyth County.
Mazda is a German shepherd mix that still has some puppy in him. He has lots of energy and has the wit of a shepherd. He is rather comical and has a goofy sense of humor. He wants to meet everybody and especially loves women - he's a flirt. Great around kids and cats, no food aggression and he seems to get along with most dogs. Meet this weekend's Patch Pets: Seahorse who was rescued from drowning in a creek, Pepper, Frances Shand Kydd and Salt.
Seahorse is a black and white little girl who was rescued from drowning in a creek by a Good Samaritan. She owes that kind person her life. But traumatic experience left her with some special needs: She is deaf and has reduced vision. But she's very loving and affectionate and can cuddle with the best of them. She really wants to be a human's devoted companion. Currently she lives at the Adoption Center but was in a foster home where she learned her kitty manners. Pepper is Bulldog mix and is known to be the most loving little girl who has had a rather rough start in life as a breeder dog. Sweet Sadie is a Sheltie, Aussie, Border Collie-mix with an estimated birthdate of July 7, 2008. She has beautiful, soft "Sheltie hair" and while is very shy when you first meet her, she'll eventually warm up to you.
