The Air National Guard “Band of the South” performs tonight at the Sexton Hall Enrichment Center in south Forsyth County.
Forsyth County Senior Services is hosting a concert to benefit high needs clients in the Meals on Wheels program, according to a press release. Participants will enjoy a free concert by the Air National Guard “Band of the South” performing tonight, April 5, at the Sexton Hall Enrichment Center from 7 to 9 p.m. “We are really looking forward to what will be a great concert for a fantastic cause,” said Michael Bohn, director of Senior Services. “We are very fortunate to have a band of this caliber offer to come perform for the community.” While admission to the concert is free, donations will be accepted. Before Santa makes his multi-million toy drops on Christmas Eve, he'll be visiting Forsyth County this weekend. Families are invited to have breakfast with Santa to celebrate the Christmas season hosted by Forsyth County Senior Services and the Sexton Hall Enrichment Center. Make the 2012 holiday season brighter for Forsyth County home-bound senior citizens by taking part in the Home-Delivered Meal Holiday Gift Certificate Program. Meals purchased with a holiday gift certificate through Forsyth County Senior Services will be delivered through the Meals on Wheels program.
