Four Sweet Babies Need a New Adoptive Home

The Humane Society of Forsyth County has four more pets up for adoption.

Mindy is a terrific tortie! She is not only pretty, but also very sweet. She's a bit mischievous and very curious and loves to explore!  She gets along okay with other cats and dogs, but if there are too many she gets nervous. She tends to be bullied by them. She is a loving, affectionate girl who is looking for her forever home. She is currently in a nice foster home where she is learning how to be a great house cat, but she needs a home of my very own and a family that give her the love she needs and deserves. Call the shelter and set up a time with her foster parent for a meet and greet. You won't be disappointed; She is Miss Personality, and quite irresistible! Root Beer is a sweet young boy who is always the first one to greet …

He is house trained and hasn't tried marking inside. Please call the HSFC at 770-887-6480 to learn more about this wonderful pet! Baxter is approximately 3 1/2-years-old and is a WONDERFUL companion. It's National Pet Day! Share Photos of Your Pet

Don't forget to tell us your pet's name and why you love it.

It's National Pet Day! A day devoted to people's love for their furry friends. In honor of today, Patch is inviting you to share photos of these special little souls. To get started meet Frankie, my 19-year-old chocolate point Siamese, and a few of her friends who live with several Patch editors nearby. Frankie is named after ol' blue eyes, Frank Sinatra, because of HER blue eyes. I love her because she's been the best companion all these years and is the sweetest cat ever. Upload a picture of your pet to our photo gallery, and tell us a little something about your furry friend (or not-so-furry if it's a goldfish, we're not discriminating). Read what these Patch editors have to say about their companions. I love Rosie because she's full of…

Sweet Little Siblings Need a Loving Family

Honey, Bitty, Summer, and Hansel and Gretel are eagerly awaiting to meet you at the Humane Society of Forsyth County.

Cumming Patch introduces you to five loveable animals up for adoption from the Humane Society of Forsyth County. Meet Honey, a female Shepherd mix with an estimated birthdate of March 18, 2011. Honey would love more than anything than to find her forever home. She has been at the shelter for a while and as a young adult she is still very active. Though with patience and proper training she'll make a great pet. Because she's active, she would do best in a home with a fenced yard. She walks on a leash and follows basic commands. Her special adoption fee is $100.   Beautiful Bitty is not only gorgeous, but also sweet as pie. She would make a great addition to your family. Stop on by the shelter and say hi to Bitty.    Summer is a female …
