About Curt
CURT MANGOLD, CFP®, CRPC is the president of Paradox College Funding located in Forsyth county. Our firm specializes in helping to make college more affordable for families, without jeopardizing their retirement or compromising their present standard of living.
Serving as a financial planner since 2000, Curt recognized that there was an “advice void” as it pertained to college funding. Financial Advisors, Accountants, and Guidance Counselors provide some degree of assistance in this area, but none truly specializes in helping a family to reduce the cost of college or to become eligible for more financial aid.
As the annual costs of college escalate and the HOPE scholarship program is facing budgetary concerns, parents need answers to their questions and an advisor to whom they can turn for solutions to their college funding woes. We can help.
Curt draws upon many resources to bring expert solutions to our families in our community, tapping the collective wisdom of CollegeBoard, Attorneys, CPAs, CFPs, College Planning Relief®, among others. As a Certified Financial Planning professional, Curt has extensive experience in approaching a family’s unique situation holistically, then recommending solutions that are both timely and appropriate.
Curt graduated from The University of Georgia in 1989 with concentrations in business, risk management and advertising. He later attended Oglethorpe University, where he completed an advanced 18-month Financial Planner Program.
A native of Atlanta, Curt and his family reside in Forsyth county. He and his wife Dianne have been married since 1997 and have two sons.

Hi Curt,
I am working on a feature film that is helping a great cause as well as offering people the opportunity to get involved with the film. I think this would be a great story to write about and tell people. I just wanted to pass this along. …Or If it’s not too much trouble, pledge on something (they are offering great things!) and if you can also please pass this along to your friends.
If I can help you out with anything or the production can help you with anything, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Here is the link for the film:
