Writing has always been my career objective, but I also love children of all ages and I firmly believe a community should prioritize its children as they are our future.  I studied comparative literature at the University of Georgia and I will always have a deep interest in Athens, Georgia and the many intricacies of its past as well as the present culture of the unique town and its campus life. 

Cumming, Georgia has also inspired the same interest and ongoing connection that keeps me in touch with one of the nation's fastest growing communities--Forsyth County! It is through the people of Forsyth county that I have come to realize there is no place like home.

Though my written work sometimes generates unexpected controversy, it is my hope that readers understand the value of a society that celebrates its differences rather than attempting to change the opinions of its people--or its writers
