Parenting for the Teen Years

Geared towards parents of 10-16 year olds – Are you getting equipped for the turbulent teen years? If not, the costs may be irreparable. There are many tragedies taking place with teens today. Parents can sometimes be part of the problem without even realizing it. In his doctorate research, Dr. Dale Goodman was shocked at his ignorance on adolescence. He was a Pastor to youth in a local church and thought he understood this stage of development. What he learned through his studies radically changed his way of relating to teens. The issues are complex and parents need to be more equipped. You will meet other parents as you learn about key developmental factors, identity issues, peers and socialization, sexuality, communication, differentiation, faith and more.
