Jacob's Run, Make Your Fitness Count This Weekend

Sometimes, all you need is the right motivator to get you out for a run.

There are plenty of reasons to stay in shape, but this weekend, you can really make it count by helping a family in need. After being seriously injured under an elevator in his family's Westbrook home, 3-year-old is on a journey to rehabilitation.

Known as "Cumming's Little Tough Guy" Jacob is already making great strides on his path to recovery. With some assistance, he recently rode his tricycle for 600 feet at Scottish Rite Hospital.

You can help Jacob and his family through the continued process of rehabilitation by joining at West Forsyth High School on Saturday, March 5. Registration for the 5k run begins at 9 a.m., and runners are hitting the pavement at 10 a.m.

You'll get a cool t-shirt and a great sense of how it feels to help a family in need. Registration costs $30.00 and all proceeds benefit the Helvey family.

See you at West Forsyth High School this Saturday!
